KD JOB LISTING -- WEB HTML DEVELOPER (131)

The WEB HTML DEVELOPER is responsible for the implementation of the front-end interface to our projects. This includes front-line support of existing business-related web applications, including trouble-shooting and maintenance. Client-side and some server-side development of new applications to be placed on the web, external or internal. Web application strategy, design, consultation, programming, documentation, testing, debugging, release and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform as both a self-motivated and collaborative problem solver
• Work closely with a cross-discipline team to create innovative web applications
• Collaborate with interactive designers to create project information architecture
• Help solve complex design problems across all browsers and platforms
• Manage multiple tasks
• Enhance and refine existing web applications and systems
• Test and debug newly-developed web applications
• Recommend and source relevant new technologies
• Meet established project deadlines
• Communicate project status to relevant parties
• Develop relevant code and application technical documentation
• Customer-service focused communication with clients is a must
• Conduct quality assurance reviews by periodically reviewing code of other programmers

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

• 2-4+ years of Professional Services or Design experience
• Design and implementation of two or more Internet/Electronic Commerce applications is required
• 2-4+ years of hand-coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with DOM support across various platforms and browsers is required
• 2-4+ years of breaking-out and replicating designs from Illustrator/Photoshop files into optimized, standards-compliant, cross-browser supported, HTML with optimally sliced and optimized images
• Leadership of one or more teams of at least 1-3 development professionals is desirable
• Bachelors Degree is desirable

• Leadership of one or more teams of at least 1-3 development professionals is desirable
• Associates Degree in Computer Science or Bachelors Degree; Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is desirable
