As a result of this collaboration, WAHS' website has become the active site we were looking for and just won a Merit Award from the Wisconsin Health Care Public Relations and Marketing Society.
· It delivers an attractive visual experience that is easy to navigate.
· Its content is 70% updateable by designated WAHS managers, including multi-level security measures that allow each department to manage its respective content.
· Payment by credit card is available through the site, as well as an insurance provider network listing.
· A "physician search" allows prospective patients to find a physician by name or specialty, easing their decision to choose who's best for them before they even step inside the office. This is also updateable to allow new physicians to be added in a timely manner.
· Career opportunities are highlighted to include benefits, online applications and current job listings.
· A senior housing section allows prospective residents to view both interiors and exteriors of new apartments.
· The hospital's external publication, the "Health Times", is available online to match the print version already in circulation. This too is updateable to allow for total administrative control and even last minute additions to content.
